Request for proposal : Upgrade & Beautification of UNICEF Bissau office Modernization and Beautification of UNICEF Bissau office.
GOAL
The purpose of this renovation and beautification is as follows:
- Establishment of a dynamic and modern reception space for UNICEF visitors
- Renovation and beautification of the conference room, common spaces, corridors and offices
- Establish an eco-friendly spiritual space for employee well-being
WORK SCOPE, ACTIVITIES, TASKS, DELIVERIES
• Improve the visual appeal and ambiance of the office environment
• Improve common areas, such as reception, meeting rooms and corridors
• Rehabilitation/repair work includes, but is not limited to, site preparation,
mobilization and demobilization, excavation and embankment; Concrete works, Masonry, Construction works
insulation and waterproofing, tiles, walkways, plastering, painting, door works and
windows and finishes.
• Design work
Improve the visual appeal and ambiance of the office environment and improve the physical appearance
office appearance by renewing and updating its design elements. 2 relative proposals

Important note: The Renewal Committee received the first proposal (Annex 1) better and also
the Representative. Therefore, the planned work must consider the suggestions presented
for the presentation of Davis Sasabo.
• Paint the walls in the office
Following the model proposed by the seller, the wall of each room will be painted in a different color.
vivid, to contrast with the remaining white walls. The office will be asked to choose
a color from a selection of official UNICEF colors selected by the design committee
embellishment, such as emerald green, light green, fuchsia, red, ocean blue, yellow,
orange, etc. of each staff member.
• Decorate the walls with photos
In consultation with the Representative, the communications section will select approximately 300 photos for
send to employees. The latter will vote to select 100 photos, which will be printed and
used to decorate offices, meeting rooms, dining rooms, kitchens, halls and lobbies
of the building (Location per room + location on each floor on the stairs to be defined). The pictures
will show inspiring images of children across Guinea-Bissau, the programmatic response of
UNICEF and the UNICEF Charter of Values.
Photos will be printed in high quality and ready to be posted without breaking the wall.

• Purchase of plants for the office
It is suggested to purchase some large green plants for the office to be installed
in reception rooms, offices, corridors and meeting rooms.
