Preparation of studies (aps, apd, esia) with a view to creating five (5) monitoring stations fecal sludge treatment (stbv) and their implementation and management methods in the centre-west and central plateau regions 1. The Government of Burkina Faso has obtained financing from the African Development Bank Group to cover the cost of the project to promote hygiene, drinking water, sanitation and strengthen the resilience of the population to COVID 19 and climate change in rural areas in eight provinces in Burkina Faso (PHEPA-8P); and intends to use a part of the sums granted to finance the contract relating to the development of studies (APS, APD, ESIA) with a view to carrying out five (5) faecal sludge treatment plants (STBV) and their implementation and management methods in the Centre-West and Central Plateau Regions. 2. The services provided under this contract include: (i) carrying out diagnostic studies and market analysis (supply/demand) of fecal sludge management; (ii) proposal of variants of controlled unloading sites, (iii) development of Summary Preliminary Project (APS), Detailed Preliminary Project (APD) studies, and environmental and social impact studies accompanied by a environmental and social management plan including possibly the resettlement action plan (if necessary) and Files call for competition (DAC).
