Request for Bids for Rehabilitation of the tracks in butaganzwa commune of ruyigi province (7 km-lot 1) and construction of 4 bridges in gisagara commune (lot 2)
LOT 1: Piste RN13-Muriza-Mugege (7,876km)
LOT 2: Quatre Ponts : Miguruka, Ruguhu, Muzi, Kavumu (4.00km)
The rehabilitation and restoration works of the tracks are in two (02) distinct and indivisible lots for each lot, consisting, essentially:
Preparatory work including site installation, tree felling, brush clearing, stump removal, demolition of existing structures, as well as relocation of concessionaire networks;
Earthworks including stripping topsoil, profiling the platform, ordinary excavations, rock excavations, borrow backfills and possible purges;
Pavement work including the implementation of the foundation course and the wearing course in lateritic or quartz gravel materials;
Sanitation works including the construction of longitudinal masonry and earthen ditches, the construction of outlets in masonry and earthen ditches, the execution of diversions, the prefabrication and the installation of passage slabs on the entrances to the plots, on the structures crossings and on pedestrian crossings, as well as the construction of scuppers;
Protective works including rubble masonry, gabionage, riprap, etc.;
Signaling works including stop and danger signs and signs indicating the tracks and marshes crossed by these tracks,
Environmental and social safeguard works including the implementation of safety measures, awareness raising on the fight against STDs/AIDS, maintaining traffic flow, repairing damage caused by the execution of the works.
