Request for proposal : Provision of Alternate Internet Connectivity Service at Unicef Head Office, New England, Freetown.
SCOPE OF WORK:
UNICEF Sierra Leone is pleased to invite proposals for the provision of high-speed internet
services of a total bandwidth of 20Mbps/20Mbps be use solely by UNICEF as alternate
connection as clearly described on the scope of work below
WORKING LOCATIONS:
UNICEF Sierra Leone Main Office, New England Ville Freetown, Sierra Leone
DELIVERABLES AND MILESTONE PAYMENTS:
• Installation of an alternate backup link using a different route via microwave to be
installed by the service provider to serve as a redundant link to the main link installed.
• The successful provider must have a physical presence including availability of technical
support in the country.
• Support related to installation and maintenance/service relocation of the contracted
service must be free of charge.
• The selected service provider will assign a dedicated account representative available to
interface directly with authorized staff to address and/or resolve account issues.
• The service provider is required to describe what alternate routing or fallback
arrangements for continuity of service they have in place (if any), should their primary
link(s) to the Internet backbone become non-operational. The offer is to indicate what
contracting arrangement they have with the primary Internet providers they work with
• Service provider should ensure the availability of a minimum of two (2) public IP
addresses.
• Install license microwave CPE for backup/for Primary links.
