The Civil Aviation Authority of Botswana (herein called the “CAAB” or “the Authority”) is a new body corporate which was established by an Act of Parliament, the Civil Aviation Authority Act, 2011, (CAA Act) and whose mandate is to promote the safe, regular, secure and efficient use and development of civil aviation in Botswana. The CAAB is responsible for the regulation of air transport, the provision of air navigation and air traffic services as well as the operation and development of Airports in Botswana. |
