Tender are invited for Buying Of Scrap Metal At Letlhakane Old Plant At Orapa, Letlhakane And Damtshaa Mines
The scope of work in this tender shall entail the following:
1. Buying and collection of scrap metal from the Letlhakane Mine old Plant through a proposed rate
(BWP/tonne).
2. Provide all the requisite resources to undertake the works like:
a. Human resources
b. Plant and equipment (e.g. haulage trucks, loading equipment etc.)
c. Obtaining all the necessary permits and licenses to transport and dispose of this particular waste
(scrap metal)
d. Paying all the levies and fees associated with the works at hand
3. Collect scrap metal from a central collection point (salvage yard) at Letlhakane Mine blue area
5. Ensure that the consignment in Letlhakane Mine is screened and approved by Debswana Security for
collection prior to loading.
6. Provide a Report (supported by evidence) of the tonnage of metal collected from Letlhakane Mine on
a monthly basis
7. Provide proof of final destination of the scrap metal, both collected by yourself and proof of receipt
8. Maintain valid waste carrier licenses throughout the life of the Contract |
