Tenders are invited for Providing basic engineering design services for the development and / or replacement of the existing fire fighting system and fire and gas detection systems
The main objectives of basic engineering work are :
Clearly identify gaps and discrepancies between existing fire fighting facilities and minimum requirements for fire fighting in accordance with the latest national laws and regulations, company standards, codes and industry standards .
The Contractor shall prepare all required engineering documents, such as : study reports, simulation sheets, technical specifications, drawings, reports document, gap analysis sheets, etc. for each specific specialty in the required engineering design requirements, as detailed in the Statement of Work ( which will be submitted later in case of qualification for the subsequent bidding stage ).
Identify and develop the latest possible technologies and design facilities for optimal implementation ensuring safety, reliability, buildability, operation and maintenance, with minimal environmental impact and at reasonable cost .
Providing sufficient technical information to form the basis of an EPIC tender , as well as reducing the risk of potential cost overruns and schedule delays during implementation .
Issue the project scope of work (“ EPIC SOW”) , schedule and cost estimate, expected to be within the specified cost range of +/-10%. |
