Expression of Interest for AISI technology enhancement and standards and acceleration support
Aerospace Industry Support Initiative (AISI), an initiative of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition, hosted and managed by the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research, is inviting interested companies to respond to calls for Expression of Interest (Eol) for the Industry Development and Technology Support Programme. Through the programme, successful beneficiaries will receive technology enhancement and standards and accreditation support from the AISI. The Eols are aimed at attracting companies that contribute towards the development of South African aeronautics, space and defence, marine and sector-wide manufacturing industries. The interventions will contribute to industrialising technologies that advance South Africa%s niche capabilities and value propositions while supporting government objectives such as localisation and enabling integration into local and global supply chains.
