The Program lo Support Regional Integration and Investment In Central Africa (PAIRIAC) Is financed Py the European Union. Its Component 2-Transhumance is jointly implemented by: 1) The NGO WILDLIFE CONSERVATION SOCIETY (WCSJ in its components 2.2 and 2.3 whose action is entitled: "Improving access to pastoral services and agro- pastoral management of natural resources" and ii) by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in its component 2.1 entitled: Support Project for the Regulation of Cross-Border Transhumanofi in Central Afnca (PARTTAC ). The objective of components 2.2 and 2.3 of component 2 of PAIRIAC is entitled as follows: « In the intervention zone, transhumance and pastoral mobility are secured within a regulated, specific, environmentally friendly development framework., human rights and gender equality, and contributing to the resilience of pastoral communities in the face ot climatic Hazards.
