General procurement notice for Recruitment of a design office for APS/APD/DAO/EIA studies and control and monitoring of work to improve WASH services and infrastructure at the level of schools and health facilities: Firm phase and conditional phase divided into two (02) lots: Lot 1: 60 schools and 35 health facilities in the Haute Matsiatra, Vatovavy and Fitovinany regions: firm tranche and conditional tranche; Lot 2: 200 schools and 35 health facilities in the four districts in the Analamanga region: firm tranche and conditional tranche; and development of standards for Water, Sanitation and Hygiene infrastructure at the level of schools and health facilities at the national level
The Government of the Republic of Madagascar received funding from the World Bank in an amount equivalent to 220,000,000 USD to finance the cost of the Project to Improve Access to Drinking Water in Madagascar (PAAEP) , and intends to allocate part of the financing to the payment of goods, works and services other than consultancy and consultancy services to be acquired within the framework of this project. The project includes the following components: Component 1: Improve and secure water production in Greater Antananarivo, Component 2: Improve water supply services in Antananarivo and secondary towns, Component 3: Resilient infrastructure and post reconstruction -cyclones, Component 4: Institutional development of the sector and Component 5: Conditional emergency intervention component. The project is implemented by the following two management units: the Project Management Unit - Ministry of Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (UGP MEAH) and the Project Unit - Jiro sy Rano Malagasy (UGP JIRAMA)
