Invitation to bid: Elaboration of a referential of conduct of the socio-educational class initiative.
GENERAL OBJECTIVES
Contribute to the capacity building of children, adolescents and young people on
Life skills, peace education and self-protection.
1- Specific objectives:
? Analyze the modules and other documents used for the training of adolescents and
young people in Life Skills in Benin and in the western sub-region;
? Take stock of the specific needs and interests of adolescents and young people in
in everyday life skills taking into account the following aspects:
the self-protection of children, adolescents and young people, the personal development and
emotional as the basis of their development and the exercise of citizenship
responsible, issues related to their sexual and reproductive health, the fight
against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and the promotion of gender equality
including responsible masculinity;
? Develop a skills repository and other facilitation, monitoring and
evaluation of socio-educational classes;
2.2- Expected results:
? The modules and other materials used for the training of adolescents and young people in
Life skills in Benin and in the western sub-region are analysed;
? The results of the inventory of the specific needs and interests of adolescents and
young people in everyday life skills is available and takes into account
the following aspects: self-protection of children, adolescents and young people,
personal and emotional development as the basis for their fulfillment and
the exercise of responsible citizenship, issues related to their sexual health
and reproductive health, the fight against Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and the promotion
gender equality including responsible masculinity;
? A skills repository and other tools for facilitating, monitoring and evaluating
socio-educational classes is developed;
? 56 teachers and social actors dedicated to the implementation of the pilot phase are
trained in the animation of socio-educational classes.
