Proposal for In-depth underwater & surface inspection of abandoned facilities on the Seme oil field, off Benin for the update of the feasibility study for the decommissioning of the facilities, 1) Carry out the underwater inspection (general visual inspection, detailed visual inspection, inspection by ultrasonic test) with a view to making an inventory of the abandoned submerged installations on the Seme oil field in Benin, namely the risers of the wells , risers, subsea pipes (pipeline) and platform pillars and frames (Jackets), 2) inspect the cathodic protection system, 3) inspect the surface equipment with a view to making an inventory of the emerged installations abandoned on the Seme oil field, including in particular the heads & Christmas trees of the wells, the separators & the pipes & upper equipment of the platforms (Topside), 4) depressurize the wells & install new pressure gauges to ensure their safety, 5) Analyze the water column in the field area along with a regionalized 3D model, to ascertain the level of oil pollution, 6) interpret the results of inspections, 7) highlight the environmental risks associated with the facilities, 8) Present the different options for decommissioning facilities & the comparative analysis of their environmental & social impacts, costs & benefits (technical & financial) respective in the short, medium & long terms, 9) propose an environmental monitoring program for the site.
